Sandy is a graduate of Oxford University where he studied Engineering Science. He has over twenty five years of corporate finance experience, having worked for nine years at Dawnay Day Corporate Finance advising clients on a wide variety of capital raising and M&A transactions, before joining Libertas Capital in 2007. His experience covers corporate finance for both public and private companies, including AIM, Main Market and Takeover Code advice. Previously he worked in the corporate finance departments at AIB Capital Markets, Morgan Grenfell and Hambros Bank.
Sandy joined Cairn in 2014 and his recent transactions include the admission to AIM of Bacanora Lithium plc, providing Rule 3 advice to Gordon Dadds Group plc in respect of an offer for the company by Work Group plc, the admission of Sosandar plc to AIM by means of a reverse takeover, providing Rule 3 advice to Stellar Diamonds plc in relation to its acquisition by Newfield Resources Limited and the admission of eEnergy Group plc to AIM by means of a reverse takeover by Alexander Mining plc.
