Jo qualified as a chartered accountant at BDO Stoy Hayward in 2003, working in the areas of business recovery, turnaround and strategy. Here he was exposed to a broad range of distressed M&A situations and gained experience in producing business viability assessments and strategic plans rapidly.
In 2006, Jo gained an MBA at Instituto de Empresa in Madrid where he specialised on technology ventures. He joined Dowgate Capital Advisers in September 2007 where he worked on several IPOs and M&A transactions.
Jo joined Cairn in January 2010 and manages a portfolio of clients across various sectors and on a number of markets. In addition, he has lead numerous UK and overseas transactions across the technology, natural resources, manufacturing and financial services sectors.
