Tony qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young and has over 25 years of corporate finance experience advising smaller quoted companies. After spending 14 years at Henry Ansbacher & Co and Strand Partners, Tony founded Dowgate Capital Advisers and led the growth and development of the business. He was also Chairman of its AIM quoted parent company, Dowgate Capital, which was sold to a competitor in a recommended transaction in 2009.
At Cairn, transactions he has led include Viacom 18's £63m cash offer for the Indian Film Company, flotation on AIM of Coral Products and Red Emperor Resources, £7m cash offer for AIM quoted Dhir India Investments plc on behalf of Acorn Global Investments, advising Jourdan plc on a mandatory cash offer and redomicile of Scotty from the UK to Austria and its readmission to AIM.
Tony is a member of the AIM Advisory Group of the London Stock Exchange. He co-founded Cairn in September 2009.
